THIS IS A vintage EASTMAN KODAK FILM 35MM REEL, rare findTHE FILM HAS A + sign and a triangle WHICH DATES IT TO 1933 MADE IN usa, i am not sure this is the film stock or an imprint!
THE FILM COMES ON A 35MM 11" REEL, IS NOT FULL.
IT CONTAINS FOOTAGE OF an early cartoon,
THE FILM HAS PROPER FADING IN AND OUT BEGINNING AND END JUST LIKE A REGULAR CARTOON OF THE ERA, BUT HAS NO TITLE OR ANY credits or WRITING INTRODUCTIONS OR END, IT HAS NO SPLICES, WHICH MAKES ME WONDER IF IT MIGHT BE A ONE OFF TRIAL VERSION? AN UNTITLED VERSION? EXPERIMENT?
OR COULD BE THE VERY SCARCE CUTTING PRINT OF THE "MISCHIVIOUS MICE"
AT first i thought it was bosko cartoon, but then received information that it is Cubby bear, which harman and ising produced for van beuren corporation. Apparentlky they completed two cubby films:
---Cubby's worlkd flight
---the gay gaucho
and started a third , the mischivious mice, but never completed.
apparently this is a workprint for one of them.
I BELIEVE THE FILM HAS no SOUND and is silent, i do not see the sound bar strip on its side!
THE FILM IS IN VERY GOOD OVERALL CONDITION , IT HAS NO VINEGAR SYNDROME, VERY CLEAN, SHARP IMAGES, WITH A FEW BROKEN PERFORATIONS, OTHERWISE IN REALLY SUPER NICE OVERALL CONDITION.
FILM IS STRAIGHT, NOT CURLED, NOT BRITTLE, NO MOISTURE INVOLVED.
THE REEL IS INCLUDED AS PICTURED
