Nice antique original lantern. Heavy solid brass with nice thick beveled glass. Heavy duty and very well made. The lantern tapers slightly from front to back; it is a little wider on the back then the front, unfortunately it doesn't show this that well in the photos. A little dusty, a few dings here and there, and a few small chips on the corners of glass, nothing horrible. Has a beautiful patina and displays well. Blurs on the glass are reflections from the photos, glass is clear and clean.  A small part of the hinge locking mechanism has come off, it really does not affect anything, it would just hold the door more securely. The door closes and latches fine, it could be re-soldered if you desire. It probably had a glass chimney for the burner, unfortunately it is MIA. Measures about 13" high, 8.5" wide on the back side, and 6" deep.  I only ship on wednesday morning. Thank you for looking.
