Vintage set of four ceramic storage jars manufactured in Czechoslovakia for the French market in the early Twentieth century.

The cream-coloured jars come in various sizes with matching lids and feature a beautiful floral design that adds a touch of elegance to any kitchen.

The jars are made of a ceramic material. The 4 jars consist of Sucre ( sugar ) Farine (flour) Cafe (coffee ) and Epices ( spices )

The Sucre jar is crazed and there is a visible crack at the back of the lid and underneath the lid under the crack there is a piece of the ceramic missing. It measures approx 30 cms in height by 11 cms across the base in width.

The Farine jar has just a small amount of crazing to the jar and more crazing on the lid and is otherwise in good used condition. It measures approx 18 cms in height by 10 cms across the base in width.

The Cafe jar has a visible crack at the top of the jar on the tight hand side and a very small amount of crazing. It measures approx 15 cms in height by 9 cms across the base in width.

The Epices jar has some light crazing mainly to the lid and is otherwise in good condition. It measures approx 13 cms in height by 7.5 cms across the base in width.

The crazing is to be expected in items of this vintage especially in items which would have been used daily. I believe this actually adds to the charm of the items.
