Extremely Rare Shipwright made Royal Navy Victorian Coopered Tobacco Barrel d.1881

This is amazing and probably the only one in existence. Made in mahogany with brass banding in the shape of a Royal Navy Grog or Rum barrel. Between the banding, it has the word Tobacco and date 1881 crudely engraved & painted on brass scroll cartouches, which would normally have a toast to the Queen on the rum barrels. It has a hinged lid with a slightly worn hinge and is tapered, again in keeping with a grog serving barrel.

It measures 5”H x 6”W x 4”D and will make a great addition to any naval or maritime collection!

Local delivery, U.K. and International shipping available with collections welcome too
