Purchased from estate sale, per original owner these have never been used, still have original UPC stickers. These are Second Quality/ Selected Second Capital Gardens saucers (11) and butter plates (2) by Lenox, for a total of 13 pieces. (Selected) Second Quality means items can have cosmetic defects/ flaws such as minor color or shape variations, mold marks, or glazed pinholes, but are not chipped/cracked. I have attempted to capture these marks in the pictures. You can see the marks seem to be on the back in the form of a small .25" line with a slight indent in the plate and two darker color markings on either end of the line. There are some variations in these marks, with some plates having more or less on them so please study the pictures carefully and request pictures if needed. I am not familiar enough with the pattern to know if there are aberrations on the front except for on the butter dishes there is a tiny clear hole along the gold rim and a small indent on the other. Butter plates measure 6.5" diameter, saucers measures 5.5". 

Design is a 24 karat gold overlay tone-on-tone floral border, and is one of five Lenox State Services that have graced the White House since 1918. Note: The gold trim on this pattern means it is not safe for use in the microwave. Is dishwasher safe per the back of the plate. This is a discontinued line, produced from 1996 to 2006.
