Photograph Notes: The church has an impressive portico of four fluted Greek Doric columns in antis, and a tall, attenuated cupola topping the tower. The more expensive Portland stone was reserved for the former, the Commissioners' money men no doubt insisting on cheaper limestone (Bath stone perhaps) for the rest. Built to the designs of D.R. Roper, 1822-24. Grade II* listed. It is one of four Commissioners Churches in Lambeth, the others being St John Waterloo Road ([[[2646382]]]), St Luke West Norwood ([[[1336037]]]) and St Matthew Brixton ([[[4579046]]]).
