Due to its fragile nature and size, we would prefer this to be collected from Prudhoe, Northumberland, rather than posted, to avoid any risk of damage. It is a very special and rare piece! We would be as devastated as the buyer were this to be damaged in post, being big Viewmaster collectors ourselves.
Extremely rare Viewmaster shop advertising piece, with light up globe (UK adapter provided) and 4 built in Viewmaster albino coloured model G viewers with 4 built in reels. These rarely come up for sale anywhere. The light works perfectly, and the light is required to view the reel images.
Measures approx 18" from top to bottom, 15" wide. This makes a wonderful display piece!
CONDITION: Has cracks and damage to the blue plastic ring which says 'THE WORLD AT YOUR FINGERTIPS'. These cracks have been glue repaired. There is also a section to the globe which has been repaired and repainted to the bottom half (see photo 11), and some minor melt damage to the globe to the top half. The viewers all work, and the light works perfectly. The reels are stuck inside the viewers and cannot be removed. The viewers are all in excellent condition, as is the base of the globe. Despite the repairs, it is still in good condition for its age and rarity.
