Fabulous WW1 Trench Art Brass 1916 Dinner Gong & Hammer (c.1918-19)

This looks fantastic and nicely presented on a carved solid oak barley twist frame with brass balls. The brass case has been hammer decorated with the dates 1918-1919 and “Souvenir from France” with a floral design. It’s suspended by two chains, has a couple of aged splits and comes with a gong hammer!
