T
his listing is for a lot of two (Leblanc) Holton model TR602 slide trombones.
These are being sold as is for parts or repair. Both would need work to be put in proper playing condition.  These are former school horns that have been retired by the district that owned them. As such, they have taken their share of knocks. Below are specifics on the condition of each instrument.

#1 - There are no major dents, but there are lots of small dings, pings, and nicks throughout, including on the "U" bend of the tuning slide. There is a crease in the rim of the bell. The tuning slide is free. I don't see any resoldered joints. The main slide is not gliding smoothly. I don't see any dents in the outer slide, so maybe it just needs a good cleaning and lubrication. The lacquer is well worn and scratched throughout the instrument. There is a school ID marking hand etched on the bell. This one comes in a plastic shell case that is in good condition. It shows normal light wear and tear, but no damage to the outer shell, and the interior is clean and odor free. It has an inventory number written on the exterior of the case in white permanent marker.

#2 - The "U" bend of the tuning slide has multiple dents. There are additional small dings, pings, and nicks throughout the instrument. The nub on the end of the main slide is pushed in ever so slightly. The rim of the bell has not been bent. The tuning slide is free. I don't see any resoldered joints. The main slide is not operating smoothly. I don't see any dents in the outer slide, so maybe it just needs a good cleaning and lubrication. The lacquer is well worn and scratched throughout the instrument. There is a school ID marking hand etched on the bell. This one comes in an older style case. The interior is clean and odor free. The exterior covering is scraped away in many spots around the edges exposing the underlying wood shell. It has an inventory number written on the exterior of the case in white permanent marker.

There is no mouthpiece, nor any other accessories included with these instruments.
