A magnificent shell from the Conus family. It has been transformed into a container as original as it is practical. Its mother-of-pearl-beaded decorated lid is probably made of plated silver; the more polished it is, the brighter it will shine. Caution: not suitable for liquids. The length of the shell alone is approx. 2 3/8. With its lid, approx. 3.25 inches (8.26 cm).
