Hard to find USDA Food Tin from the government Food Help Program that originally had Beef Meatball Stew inside. While this program still exists, they no longer produce cans specifically marked for the program. I believe the last time these style of cans were available was the early 1990's. Limited in quantity and who could receive them these tin cans are some of the hardest to find!
Can is in very good condition overall but does have some flaws. Typical dings and scrapes you'd find from a can of this age that's been sitting on a shelf for some time. Most notably a ding on the top edge. There is a little rust here and there on the can but overall it is mostly rust free. Obviously, the can has been opened, it was opened from the "bottom" so sitting upright it appears still sealed. Good silver color and lettering/graphics are still black and bold.
