An Antique Victorian
C19th Porcelain Moustache Cup & Saucer. The set features a very scarce
unusual design of a bird nesting in a tree complete with its eggs. The base of
the saucer has a Victorian lozenge mark which I believe dates its manufacture
to 21 June 1882.
The item is in good
condition with no significant damage (chips/cracks) which I could find. Please
see the photos for a more detailed view of the item to judge for yourself its
condition. There may be the odd bump/crazing/manufacturing fault in the glaze
as is common in vintage/antique/handmade items. I have tried to take photos
from every angle so this should help you form a decision as to its condition.
Cup measures roughly 8cm high & 9cm in diameter.
Saucer measures
roughly 15.5cm in diameter
Please note that the
item does have wear to the gilding in places as is expected in items of this
nature and age.
The item has been well
cared for and has seen very little use. Postage Combined where possible. The
item will be sent well packaged and not just thrown into a plastic
bag/cardboard box. Willing to post overseas through eBay GSP. Smoke free
seller.
