It was running in our modular construction production factory for 3 years. We used the laser to display AutoCAD drawings on to wall panels directly below to work on our modular home walls with high precision. Since then the laser unit & all the related equipment was dismantled and packed safely away in dry storage. Note, although we used AutoCAD, there are many other programs that are supported.

As shown in the photos, it comes with the comms unit & all related wiring, reflective pieces for calibration to the surface you're projecting to, the remote control, and all booklets & manuals that came upon purchase.
Everything required is included, although I strongly advise you have LAP do the install as if you're serious about precision then it should be installed correctly. They are a great company to work with and support the install & repairs of their products as well as help with queries about their software.
