This is a traditional Huipil from the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, the type of huipil made famous by Frida Kahlo.  This particular huipil is all machine embroidered as it the tradition with the geometric pattern huipiles from Tehuana.  It is unlined and made of a Cotton lycra blend Fabric with Raspberry Pink and Yellow embroidery on a Baby Blue background with a tiny floral pattern.   Please note that this huipil is easily altered to make it smaller should you wish.  As it is now it will fit a Large to Extra Large Size Woman.  I purchased this huipil along with several others in a local market while on my most recent trip to Oaxaca.  Take a look at my Ebay store for a larger selection of Huipiles.

This lightweight weight cotton blend top measures; 26 inches across (total 52 inches around) and 23 inches Long.   It will fit a Large to Extra large size woman.

It is a wonderful example of contemporary fashion trends such as, Frida Kahlo, Fiesta, Santa Fe, Hippie, Boho, Peasant, Gypsy, South Western, Cowgirl Style.
