The DM714 converts incoming AES/EBU digital audio to MADI. In addition to the 24 input channels (12 AES/EBU pairs), there are two auxiliary analog inputs (XLR) and two auxiliary digital inputs (S/PDIF or AES/EBU); only one auxiliary digital connector can be used at a time. Each main AES/EBU input is automatically evaluated for sample rate conversion. The incoming sample rate is compared with the internal rate.
