1st Edition, with Dust Jacket
This is a very fine, highly-collectible first edition 1965 (see Bookseller’s
pencilled “first edition…” note on title page, in attached photos), first
printing of this popular novel by Ian Fleming. This is a very clean,
almost mint example of this book, with the book itself in apparently
unused, totally fox-free, condition.
Bound in original black cloth boards, with pristine gilt titles to the spine.
The boards are clean, flat and totally unblemished and all pages and
their edges are in mint condition.
The book is housed in the original pictorial dust jacket with wraparound
artwork by Richard Chopping which is in equally bright, unfaded
condition; apart from very minor wear to the top and bottom edges at the
spine, the dust jacket is absolutely clean and free of tears or folds. The book has been safely stored in a heavy paper envelope since
purchase in 1985.
Overall, this is a book in almost mint condition - a highly-desirable,
highest-value collector’s example of the title and not to be missed.
