Rare box from 1930 on which Tolkien can be heard in two lessons of this English course.

English Lesson 30 WIRELESS / Prof. A. Lloyd James Prof. J.R.R. Tolkien
Tolkien reads the introduction to lesson 20 "At the Tobacconist" and plays the shopkeeper in the play with Lloyd James as the customer. In Lesson 30 "Wireless" Tolkien plays the proud owner of a radio set who explains to Lloyd James what a wonderful invention this is.
Box is complete and contains 16 records with original sleeve.
