This lot is devoted to the Norddeutscher Lloyd Bremen Lines SS (steamship) Bremen which sailed from 1939 until 1980. It was known under different names, and owned by different operators, but from 1957, until 1972 she was the SS Bremen owned by ND Lloyd. This lot includes the following:
-October 5, 1960 - Music Program
-February 9, 1966 - Menu
-February 10, 1966 lunch menu
-February 10. 1966 - Menu (doesn't specify which meal but appears to be a dinner menu based on offerings)
-April 3, 1971 - Farewell program (last day of the cruise with landing procedure for NY in it)
-November 26, 1971 dinner menu
This comes from the estate of a cruise ship aficionado who enjoyed cruise ships and also collected items. According to receipts many of these items were bought at antique stores in the 1990's, and have been kept safe in plastic envelopes within a binder, and inside of a trunk ever since.
