The easy-to-integrate design concept allows the Gryphon GFS4470 scanning module to provide system designers with a "plug and play" solution. Constructed with high-impact resin, it can withstand repeated cleaning with solvents and disinfectants, while the sealed housing meets industry standards for water and dust resistance for reliable scanning performance.
The GFS4470 scanning module provides users with excellent performance in decoding and reading damaged barcodes with excellent close-range scanning characteristics, wide-angle field of view, high movement tolerance, and fast reading. Like all Gryphon scanners, the GFS4470 scanning module features Datalogic's patented "green dot" technology, which provides effective read feedback.
Because the GFS4470 scanning module has a deep red and stable illumination light, the user's comfort is maximized. Compared to the flickering light of competing products, it is easier for the eye to distinguish, while the high-visibility 4-dot sight defines a precise reading area, reducing the number of accidental reads. The center cross of the sight locates the target barcode in a multi-barcode environment.
The GFS4470 scanning module provides fast reading performance for 1D and 2D barcodes such as postal codes, stacked codes such as PDF417 and composite codes. For mobile marketing or ticketing applications, this image-based scanning module also excels in reading barcodes on mobile devices.
Capturing signatures and scanning files requires separate devices, but with the GFS4470 scanning module, these separate devices are no longer needed.
There are several trigger modes available in the GFS4470 scan module. First, the scanning module can automatically sense objects and trigger automatically. There is also a continuous scan mode that automatically scans and transmits data as the barcode passes its field of view. Alternatively, remote triggering can be done via a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or from outside the sensor. ?
