Up for sale is a replica of an edict (Farman) issued by King Muzaffar al-Din Shah of the Qajar dynasty in 1323 AH (1905). It grants permission to the American Phonograph Company to offer its products for sale in the country. This particular document was printed in Tiblisi/Tiflis, Georgia by Dusterdik Imperimairie in the early 20th century. The text is in Persian with an abridged Russian translation on the back. It measures 14cm x 21cm. There are a few tears around the edges and a small piece in the lower right is missing (see pictures). Feel free to ask any questions you may have!
