1954 Vintage Carole & Walter Mack Scrapbook Photos, Cards, Mementos
A charming vintage scrapbook chronicling the newly married Carole and Walter Mack's life and adventures. The front page reads "This book was started on August 23, 1954, including things Walt and I did starting the end of June, 1954". 32 full pages, front and back. Includes black and white photos of the couple, carefully labeled by Carole, mementos such as locks of hair, programs and tickets from places they'd been, anniversary cards, even an old candy wrapper from Walt and a piece of a candle from their six-month anniversary celebration. Carole seemed like the type of girl to save anything. A fun and unique piece of personal history to look through. The book itself is in pretty good shape for it's age and is holding together well. Everything inside is well preserved and attached to the pages with plastic corner holders or tape; a few items are loose. Measures 10 1/4" x 12".
