🇮🇪 Republic of Ireland MATCH WORN Home Shirt 1979/81

Original shirt from the late 70’s, not a modern reproduction. Iconic shirt worn by some of the greatest Irish players of all time, including Lawrenson, Brady, Stapleton and Moran. This is a match day shirt worn by a senior player, but I have no confirmation as to who. The number “7” is stitched on the back in a manner consistent with other match worn shirts I have had and seen from this era, as is the actual number material. Numbers 1-11 would have been assigned specifically to starting players, so it was definitely worn. It is most likely it was worn by Gerry Daly, as he wore this number most often around this time, with Liam Brady wearing “8”.

In Very Good vintage, worn condition, compared to similar shirts of this age. The O’Neills logo has faded, as was quite common.

Size Adults Medium to Large equivalent, 40/42 on tag. Pit to pit is 53cm and length from collar neckline to hem is 73cm.
