You are bidding on a vintage original 1928 Arbutus yearbook, from Indiana University, in Bloomington, IN. The book has unique colorful Art Deco artwork at the beginning of each main section and additional sketches throughout. There are individual photos of the members of the graduating class of 1928, as well as many additional photos of students, clubs, activities, fraternities and more. One notable senior pictured in the book is Leroy Edgar Burney, who would go on to medical school at Indiana University and become a physician and public health official. He was appointed the eighth Surgeon General of the United States from 1956 to 1961.

This 94-year-old book has no loose, torn or missing pages. The cracked front hinge has been reinforced with clear book tape. The cover has scuffing, bumping, scrapes and small tears, mostly at corners and edges. There is no handwriting, underlining or highlighting. Interior colors of graphics remain bright.
