This listing is for a vintage commemorative plate from the West End Synagogue in Nashville, Tennessee. This Jewish plate probably dates to the early 1950s. The building was dedicated in 1951 and this was likely a commemorative plate from that time period. The building was designed by Percival Goodman of New York City. The West End Synagogue is affiliated with the the United Synagogue for Conservative Judaism. The congregation's original name was Khal Kodesh Adath Israel and as the Gay Street Synagogue.

The plate was made my Homer Laughlin and is marked on the back "EGGSHELL Theme HOMER LAUGHLIN MADE IN U.S.A D52N5". Measures 10" across by 13/16" tall. There is a beautiful gold trim around the inside of the plate.

Condition: There is some crazing on the back that does not show on the front. Also some discoloration on the back from aging. There are no chips or cracks.
