ROCKET - First Early
A fairly mild flavoured early scraper.
White skin, white flesh, oval tuber.
A large cropper of uniform, one of the earliest early around. Has double Eelworm resistance.

SWIFT - First Early
Cooks well and is a very good boiler, can also be used for chipping.
White skins, yellow fleshed, shallow eyes with round attractive tubers.
One of the earliest earlies with larger tubers than Rocket, this variety produces very short foliage making it excellent for growing in pots or under polythene.

WINSTON - First Early
An excellent first early baker.
Yellow skin, light yellow flesh, lovely round tubers.
Produced by Jack Dunnett, it's smooth bold shape makes it an exceptional showbench variety.

BRITISH QUEEN - Second Early
Dry floury potato. packed with taste and particularly good when boiled.
Oval shape, white skin, white flesh.
British Queen is an old heritage potato, known in Ireland as the 'Queens'. Only grown in small quantities, but has started to grow in popularity once again due to it's excellent dry rot resistance.

ESTIMA - Second Early
Matures into a good general purpose potato, firm with little discolouration, good cooking qualities.
Yellow skin, light yellow flesh, oval tubers.
A Dutch developed potato with high yields and good visual appeal, very reliable.

KESTREL - Second Early
A top flavour variety which in time matures to be a good general purpose potato.
White skin/Bonny blue eyes, yellow flesh, long oval tubers.
A show winner, due to it's excellent appearance it has above average flavour and good yields.

MARIS PEER - Second Early
One of the best boiling potatoes, excellent flavour.
Yellow skin, yellow flesh, oval tubers.
A well flavoured salad/boiling potato. Loved by the restaurants for it's firmness. An excellent patio potato because of it's beautiful purple flowers.

NADINE - Second Early
Fairly firm, boils well, bakes well and are very waxy.
Short oval tubers, yellow skin, light yellow flesh.
World record yields, top exhibition appearance and Eelworm resistant.

DESIREE - Main Crop
Cooks well with no discolouration, strong flavour.
Red skin, light yellow flesh, long oval tubers.
Still the world's most popular red, this variety made a comeback due to TV publicity. It is best grown in East Anglia soil but if grown in sandy or gravel soil can have overwhelming scab.

KERRS PINK - Main Crop
Cooks well with no discolouration, good general purpose potato.
Light-red, pink skin, yellow flesh, oval tubers.
It's a very tall and robust plant which produces a fine grained floury potato, crops well in a long season. A very popular variety within Scotland and Ireland.

KING EDWARD - Main Crop
Good flavour and texture can be used for a multitude of purposes.
White skin, pink eyes, yellow flesh, long oval tubers.
England's best known variety. Consistent demand over the years is a testament to it's cooking and eating qualities.

MARIS PIPER - Main Crop
Suitable for a wide range of tasks, good texture and flavour, not the easiest to boil but excels as a chipper.
White skin, light yellow-white flesh, oval tubers.
The first successful Eelworm resistant variety grown, Britain's dominating field variety, it has good yields and flavour and is the yard stick to judge others against. Some say the best chipping variety ever.

CHARLOTTE - Salad Crop Second Early
A modern variety with a good flavour. Can be eaten hot or cold, great salad potato.
Yellow flesh, long oval tubers.
Reliable high yielding waxy second early salad variety. Uniformed size, not the best foliage.

NICOLA - Salad Main Crop
Superb flavour when boiled can be eaten hot or cold.
Yellow skin, yellow flesh, long oval tubers.
Reliable high yielding main crop, salad variety. It's superb flavour has led to it being used as a reference in taste tests assessing new salad varieties being introduced. Produces white flowers.

RED DUKE OF YORK - First Early
Good for general purpose but best mashed, roasted or fried. Makes excellent crisps.
White skin, cream flesh with lovely red oval tubers.
With wonderful flavour it's a step up from Duke of York. It is a more vigorous plant than the white Duke with large tubers and impressive foliage. A heritage variety which has gained a little modern commercial success.

MARVEL - Main Crop
New, robust and easy to grow, with PCN resistance and huge yields. Great all-rounder. Stores well.

JAZZY - Salad Crop Second Early
Exceptional salad variety. Great taste and huge yields.

PENTLAND JAVELIN - First Early
