Really nice vintage receiver made by Lafayette.

Made in Japan in the early 1970's.

Solid and heavy. 

Metal knobs

This one has a great "feel" pushing and moving the knobs and buttons. Very solid.

Excellent tuner

All inputs work great.

Had a hum when I got it so the filter capacitors have been replaced and now its nice and quiet.

New lamp bulbs in dial face. LEDS didn't look good so I used incandescent bulbs like the originals. 

The phono indicator light does not work.

Some of the lettering on the tuner dial is crooked or missing etc but most of it's there. Please see the pictures.

Amplifier output wattage was measured differently back then)but most forums now estimate this is between 20-30 watts per channel. 

Stereo light does not light up. But it pulls in station very good.
