Each lot of five (5) Jefferson head wartime composition nickels 1942P, 1943P, 1944P, and 1945P will be randomly selected 

and will be in varying conditions.

This wartime composition has 35% Silver, 56% Copper & 9% Manganese. 

Before this series and after this series there is no silver in them.

The mint mark is on the reverse over the Monticello building dome (as seen in pictures above), the previous and subsequent series, without silver, the mint mark is on the face of the coin; which makes this wartime composition series easily distinguishable from all the others both pre-war and post war.

The pictures show a sample of over 200 of these nickels in a pile.
