This is the most beautiful of the false grails depicted in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. It sits directly next to the true grail, the cup of the carpenter, untouched throughout the film.

This is a heavy, full-size cup with glass cabochons in the exact color, shape and size as used on screen. Sourcing the glass cabochons in the exact shape shape and size was difficult, and took me the better part of two months to find them. But I ultimately tracked them down overseas.

I have two of these, both identical.

See the photo with the scale--this is heavy. It weighs more than a full drink can. It has a metal cylindrical core throughout both the handle and the cup, so it has the proper balance in your hand. I hand-shaped the body around the metal core.

By way of background, I designed my first prop for television more than 30 years ago. I make props today in my older age for no other reason than to pay homage to great stories of the past. I was always fascinated by this cup in the film, even from a young age. I've never seen anything like it in the real world.
