10th-11th century AD. Silvered bronze, slightly rounded face band. Broad 7.2mm width. Wearable size, slightly under 7, as of course, these were not made to modern specifications. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the pure silver overlay restored.
