Here is an unused Civil War envelope.  These patriotic envelopes were purchased and used as a form of political support for a cause one believed in, much like today's lawn signs seen during an election. 

Commemorating the seal of the Great State of Connecticut.

5 1/2" wide and in great condition for it's age. The glue on the flap may be partially stuck due to humidity conditions over the years.

I will combine shipping costs but you must let me invoice you when the auctions end, rather than checking out yourself.
