Here are the three components which will get that backlight for your ICOM IC-746 and 746PRO, IC-7400  (and other Icoms with Failing or failed Display Backlight) working again.

Just perform a search of Icom Backlight repair to see instructions and youtube videos.

For IC-746 and IC-746 Pro the Parts replace Q302, C302 and C303 (see photos)
For IC-756 the Parts replace Q104, C103 and C105
Icom IC-756 PRO II and PROIII the Parts replace Q801, C802 and C803

These are brand new  parts.

The components are surface mount and will require a steady hand

and  good soldering equipment(magnifier helps)
