Up for auction is a rare 1928 C.G. Conn "Armored" model 624N-B silver metal Bb clarinet.  This clarinet is not currently playable, but is complete and has no broken keys. It would benefit from a complete repad/cleaning/spring replacement/overhaul for optimal performance. There are no major dents or major trauma. The silver plating is tarnished throughout and has minimal wear, with approximately 95% of plating intact. There appears to be some gold plating/lacquer that is fading and flaking due to old age. The construction of the Armored Clarinet features a hard rubber top and bottom joint with a thin silver sheath around the rubber. This collectible clarinet has the potential to be a real beauty after it receives some TLC. Included is a worn clarinet case(missing the handle, but suitable for shipping) and should probably be replaced. The serial number is in the upper 215,7xx range. I believe this model was only made for 3 years! No mouthpiece is included. The pictures provided are considered as part of the description. This clarinet is being sold in "as-is" condition with no returns!!
