Thunderbird and Killer Whale

"This piece recounts a story from the oral tradition of the Salish people. A whale is trapped in a bay and lives off the salmon, the main food source of the people living in the nearby village. The people from the village become fearful of not having enough salmon for the winter and call upon the great thunderbird for help. The enormous bird flies down, captures the whale and carries it off into the sky."
