Vintage U.S. Air Force Reserve 757th Tactical Airlift Squadron “Blue Tigers” lapel pin. The 757th Tactical Airlift Squadron (now the 757th Airlift Squadron) is an Air Force Reserve unit based at Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio. It flies the Lockheed C-130H Hercules on airlift and aerial spray missions. The unit was designated the 757th Tactical Airlift Squadron from 1967-1970 and 1981-1992, when it became the 757th Airlift Squadron. The lapel pin is approximately 3/4” high. It is made of metal and has a clutch back. The lapel pin is unmarked, and the maker of the lapel pin is unknown. The exact age of the lapel pin is unknown, although it is probably pre-1992. Please note: this lapel pin is not an official U.S. Air Force badge.

The lapel pin appears to be in good used condition with signs of age and wear, such as scratches, scrapes, abrasions, nicks, indentations, pits, discoloration, and some loss of finish (some blemishes may be a result of the manufacturing process). The clutch back is not original to the lapel pin; it was added.
