My grandfather had this piece in his library in his home. I thought it looked pretty so I’m listing it here on eBay.

Please take a minute and let me describe this to you what I see. I’m not an expert at sculptures but I could describe condition, etc..

First of all it looks really beautiful. The natural stone and the artist who did this added just the right touches of metal makes it look very nice. It looks mid century modern. If you are familiar with the artist Curtis Jere … It kind of looks like what he does but it is not that artist. However, it is signed by somebody with sloppy handwriting so I don’t know.

It’s approximately 9 inches tall. The metal birds have the patina on it that I show in the pictures, so make sure you look at that patina on the neck and head of one of those birds. I’ll point to it what I want you to see there.

Please keep in mind this is a natural stone. So when I pick it up, it has little crumbly rocks that fall off of it, most likely due to them being deep inside of the stone, and the artist didn’t blow them out or whatever reason, but if you do find a little bit of crumb rock… Don’t worry it’s because it’s the natural stone shedding a little bit of hidden rocks. But it’s very secure very sturdy statue… Nothing to worry about there.

I have excellent boxes and soft padding to pack this with great care. The item weighs 2 lbs. 11 oz. and I need about 1 pound for the box and the padding.

Please make sure you look at every single picture because this item will arrive to you exactly as pictured as is and as described and as found. I think it’s lovely . It looks like nature. It looks mid century modern. The stone is beautiful.
