estate item, binoculars are great, the leather case is falling apart (age, brittle) and the strap is intact but I wouldn't trust it. lens caps are brittle. 6X30 is good because it's easier to hand-hold than higher magnification. I don't know if the case can be restored, I'm sure a real leather-worker would know what to do - for sure the case will protect these binoculars in transit.
Note to me: computer hutch, top compartment
