Very nice Akai combo unit, has a digital tuner, cassette player, phono input, plus a CD (general purpose ) input. Amplifier is rated at around 35W per channel. All tested, equaliser sliders and balance slider cleaned, and work nicely. Two belts replaced on the cassette unit. 

Phono.  This unit usually has a matching record player, which is powered from this unit. When the unit senses the motor start ,it auto switches to phono mode. To simulate this, I added a switch to the rear, so phono can be activated by reaching to the rear and activating the switch. (Label on the top)
