Beautiful late 19th century French opalescent glass dressing table pot in silver plated mounts. Round body with a panelled ribbed design is elevated on three ball feet. The ornate silvered borders are chased with a Neoclassical palmette design. This pot would also be a great size to be used as a honey or jam jar.

Wonderful blue hue to the glass, reminiscent of a moonstone.

Made in France, s. 1890’s; maker’s mark “SEB”.

322 g
8 cm tall
6.5 cm overall diameter
5 cm tall inside
5 cm internal diameter

Very good antique condition. The base silver border has a tiny split in one spot; fleabite to glass; some light wear to silvering appropriate to age and use.
