Photograph Notes: Avro Lancaster NX611 - This event, which ran from 10am to 5pm, saw displays from various vintage aircraft including Mustangs, Hurricanes, and the Swift Aerobatic Display Team. The event was held in support of the RAF Benevolent Fund, the RAF's leading welfare charity. Also featuring on the day was a taxy run by a Lancaster bomber, as well as stalls dedicated to RAF Recruitment, Honda, the Red Arrows, Classic Cars and aviation artists. There were also model aircraft displays, re-enactments, 1940's dancers, and static aircraft to walk around. The event, which this year was supported and covered by FlyPast Magazine, saw all money raised on the day going to the RAF Benevolent Fund and towards the restoration of the Lancaster NX611.
