Made in England. Price & Kensington are an earthenware manufacturer based at Longport, Staffordshire and have been manufacturing in one form or other since 1896. Our family used this as a cookie jar for many years. The hen sits snugly on the nest. In very good condition. Price Kensington makers mark on bottom and marked as model number 4060, Made in England. There is crazing from age. Rough on the end of the gilded beak but no paint missing. May have been a repair or original, intended texture. Measures approximately 8.5 inches tall x 9.5 inches wide.
