Santa Cruz Heckler Full Suspension MTB w/ Marzocchi Bomber Fork Trans Blue - MD

The Santa Cruz Heckler is one of the most famous full-suspension mountain bikes that ever hit dirt. It was well known for being a great descender with a good balance of climbing efficiency and plushness.

The Heckler was the precursor to the Superlight line of bikes. This bike features an aluminum frame, Marzocchi Bomber Z1 fork, RockShox coil shock, a Shimano 3x8 drivetrain and XT V-brakes.

This bike would make a good beginner mountain bike but it can also be used to get to school or to ride dirt trails and singletrack. With a 22.4" effective top tube and a 18.5" seat tube (c-c), this bike should fit most riders in the 5’5” to 5'8" range.

This bike is equipped with a Shimano XT V-brakes, Avid brake levers, XT trigger shifters, Forte lock-on grips, White Industries cranks, Shimano hubs, WTB saddle, Titec seatpost, Kore stem, 26x2.0” tires and a Salsa seatpost binder.

(used, this Santa Cruz is in Good condition for a bike of this vintage. There are a few scuffs and scrapes here and there. The suspension is functional and operates adequately for a used bike, but could probably use some new oil and seals to freshen it up.  Mechanically, the bike is tuned and upon re-assembly by a qualified mechanic, should be ready to ride. Please see all photos for close-up detail.)

Bike will be professionally packed with care.
