Rocky Mountain Elder (Sambucus melanocarpa) - fruit shrub - 100 seeds
Shrub about 2-3 m tall (occasionaly 4), which belongs to taxonomic group of 'red elders' but creates black fruits. The fruit is edible, but without seeds (they need to be removed). Very esteemed as fruit shrub. Very frost hardy (at least to zone 6). It is native to USA, to Rocky Mountains area. This species is hard to find in trading. The seeds should be sown in Autumn outside or in cool cellar, or stratified by a few months to germinating. Package 100 fresh seeds.
