Kogigu pumpkin

Latin name: Cucurbita moschata cv. Kogigu

Kogigu is a gourd from Japan, that has a yellowish toned peel and orange pulp.
One fruit is about 1 kg (2.2 lbs) heavy. This variety develops many tasty fruits.
It is especially recommended for the preparation of soups and pumpkin dishes, but is good with sweet stuffing for baking as well.
