This is a badge worn by a member of the DOSAAF (Volunteer Society for Cooperation with the Army, Aviation, and Fleet), who was recognized "For Activist Work". Historically, the DOSAAF raised funds for military or science projects, but over the decades it became more of a civic organization. The recipient of the badge may have been awarded it for fundraising, recruitment, coordination with other DOSAAF clubs or fraternal organizations, facilitation of meetings, or many other duties. 0.75" x 1.25" and enameled on gold metal.
