Product Description:
The Cinelight Redhead 800W is a compact, lightweight, multi-purpose quartz fixture that is ideal for any location lighting application. Open-faced lights, like the Cinelight Redhead 800W, tend to spread their light everywhere because the light comes from both the bulb and the surface of the silver reflector, making them great fill lights.
The spherical housing features an adjustable reflector for flood and spot control. The mechanism changes the position of the globe relative to the reflector, so that the reflector emits a wide beam when the globe is close to the reflector and a narrow beam when the globe is farther away from the reflector.
Designed for use with high temperature tungsten halogen lamps, they are ideal for tight or confined spaces where maximum light output and beam spread is required for fill or flood lighting. They are excellent for use in small television studios or on school and college stages.
These lamps make great bounce lights (pointed at a white bounce surface) or can be useful for lighting objects in the background of the set. To light actors, a medium-heavy diffusion is needed to lower the intensity.
They can be used for television news, commercials, and motion pictures and industrial films.
