Description:


New edition bound in contemporary tree calf with SPCK blind stamp to centre of upper board. Recently backed, with earlier, gilt-lettered red morocco label preserved. Externally, sound and firm, a little scuffing to rear board, corners bumped and rounded with small loss to calf. Recent replacement endpapers. Text-block remains firm, though a little uneven to fore-edge. Pages with just a hint of age-toning and occasional minor blemishes, else generally clean and tidy. Folding map with repairs to some folds.
