Barr Clarke is an experienced artist and teacher who paints with vivid colors in an impressionistic manner. Now residing in the Denver area, she has lived and painted in different locations around the world, including Costa Rica, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Spain. She is a signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society, Plein Air Artists of Colorado, past president of the Park Hill Art Club, and a member of the Heritage Fine Arts Guild.


Barr Clarke studied art at the University of Kansas, earning a bachelor of arts there, and the University of Michigan. She has a master of arts from The American University of Cairo, Egypt. She teaches watercolor classes at The Art Garage in Denver and conducts workshops for art groups in Colorado, New Mexico, and Curacao. She has been represented by galleries in Santa Fe, Vail, Curacao, Denver and Georgetown, Colorado. Her work is on view in the Kirkland Museum of Fine and Decorative Art in Denver.
