Antique art nouveau hand blown glass decanter with a silver collar hallmarked for Hukin & Heath, Birmingham, 1896.

It measures 27cm tall x 13cm x 13cm and does not have a stopper. I think this type of decanter is called a spiral or twist glass decanter. This one is twisted but only slightly and not as much as some I have seen. All four horizontal rims on the decanter have some small nibbles on the bottom part including one of the feet. The silver has lots of signs of wear from when the stopper has been replaced after pouring.

Lovely decanter in generally good+ to very good condition.
