Use this attachment for making purees, ricing of potatoes or other vegetables, rolling, pressing and pitting of foods used for jams, jellies or flavorings and a variety of other uses. Pressure is exerted on the colander screen by contact of either a plastic roller or nylon brush assembly. The roller assembly is the most commonly used for ricing potatoes, making fine or coarse soup stock including purees, and for any light pressure operation that does not involve pits or seeds as found in prunes, cherries, and plums. The brush rotator is generally recommended to process foods with pits or seeds.
Attachment works on all Classic series 20 quart mixers. This attachment will not work on the Legacy series of mixers.
