First off there are 2 wiper systems used on 1968-72 GM A-Body Cars. Very few parts interchange between the 2 systems so read and be sure this part will fit your car.

1968-72 Buick Special, Skylark, GS with depressed park.
1968-72 Chevy Chevelle, Malibu, Monte Carlo, El-Camino with depressed park
1968-72 Oldsmobile Cutlass, 442 with depressed park.
1968-72 Pontiac Tempest, Le Mans, GTO, Grand Prix with depressed park
1968-72 Buick Special, Skylark, GS with depressed park.
1970-72 GMC Sprint with depressed park

(1) Depressed Park= Wipers go down low and disappear under the hood when turned off, double arm on drivers side. This style comes on cars with almost any option package. If your arms are missing just look at the drivers side wiper shaft that wiper arm connects to. Under that there is a pin to run the second arm on depressed park equipped cars.

(2) Exposed park= Wipers that will show above the hood when turned off, are silver in color and both sides are single arms (no double on the drivers side). These are generally found on lower cost, lesser optioned cars.
